Mrs. Iva Eva Troy, 96, of Edwardsburg, died Monday evening, January 15, 1989, at Cass County Medical Care Facility in Cassopolis.
Mrs. Troy moved to Edwardsburg 15 years ago from North Liberty, IN. She retired as a bookkeeper for the Perfection Biscuit Company in South Bend, IN. She was a graduate of Kalkaska County Normal School, and formerly taught at Fife Lake. She was a member of the Edwardsburg Golden Age Club.
Mrs. Troy was born in Walkerton, IN on May 29, 1893, to Martin and Antice Pool Miller. She married Roy E. Boisselier on June 3, 1922, in Chicago. He died on Oct 13, 1930. On Jan. 11, 1958, in Walkerton, IN, she was married to Edward Troy who preceded her in death on Jan 7, 1972.
Surviving are one daughter, Mr. Lee (Norma) Boone of Edwardsburg; and one grandson.
One brother, Martin Miller preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan 17, 1990, at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home in Edwardsburg. Rev. Clearance Dycus officiated.
Graveside services were tentatively scheduled for Thursday, Jan 18, 1990, at Maple Grove Cemetery at Leetsville.
