Mrs. Isabel Mary Stoops, 69, of Kalkaska died Tuesday afternoon, Nov 7, 1989, at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital.
Mrs. Stoops moved to Kalkaska 20 years ago from Gaylord. She enjoyed flowers.
She was born in Duval County, TX on Nov. 5, 1920, to Felix and Sevea Moreno Villarreal. On March 10, 1969, in Mancelona, she was married to Stanley Stoops who survives.
Also surviving are one brother, Manuel Villarreal of New Mexico, and several nieces and nephews.
One sister and two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 10, 1989, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Fr. Patrick J. Barrett, pastor of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
