Hugh L Norton, 64, of 3315 Clayton Ave, died Tuesday night in Elkhart General Hospital. He was born Oct 17, 1904, in Jay County, IN. He married Marie Slentz Jan 30, 1924, in Portland, IN She survives with a daughter, Mrs. W. Webster Darling, Fayetteville, AR; three grandchildren; his father, W.H. Norton, Montpelier, IN; a brother, Harold of Bluffton, IN, and two sisters, Mrs. Newton Ochsenrider, Warren, IN and Mrs. Earl Fields of Eaton, IN. He had been an employee of the American Wheelabrator Co in Mishawaka for a number of years. Friends may call after 2 pm Thursday in the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 am Friday with Rev. Bruce Mosier officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
