Homer G. Petersen, 55, of 121 Dover St, Pentwater, died unexpectedly at his home.

Mr. Petersen was born Dec 26, 1920 in Wisconsin and married Mildred Anne Ayers Jun 21, 1947 in Ludington. She survives.

The couple came to Pentwater in Sep 1956 from Grand Rapids.

He was a member f the Centenary Methodist Church of Pentwater, the Pentwater Yacht Club, D.A.V. and a veteran of WWII.

He was a sales representative of Millwork Supply Corporation of Kalamazoo until his retirement.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three sons, Michael of Otsego, Mark of Sparta and Martin of Kentwood; his father Hans of Ludington; and two sisters, Ruth Selph of Sarasota, FL, and Mary Jane Ludwig of Ludington.

The funeral for Mr. Petersen will be held at 1:30pm Monday at the Centenary Methodist church with the Rev. Clyde Miller officiating.

Burial will be in Pentwater Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday, afternoon and evening, at the Tate-Weaver Funeral Home in Pentwater.

Contributions, in lieu of flowers, can be made to the Centenary Methodist Church of the Heart Fund.
