Herschel S. Ivory, 84, of Kalkaska, died Mon, Oct 2, 2000, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Herschel was born in Lapeer the son of Earl and Icie Smith Ivory.
He was united in marriage with Margaret Chubb on Mar 28, 1943, in Bowling Green, OH. She preceded him in death on Jan 27, 1998.
Herschel was a retired welder who resided in Pontiac until moving to Kalkaska in 1972.
Surviving are daughters Beverly (Gary) Mollencompf of Gilbert, AZ, and Lynn (Joseph) Persons of Gulfport, Miss; son Darrell (Patricia) Ivory of D'hanis, TX; brothers, Zane Ivory of Pontiac and James Ivory of Vassar; sisters, Audrey Warren of Lapeer and Iris Boswell of Bonifay, FL; and six grandchildren.
Daughter Marla Fox preceded him in death.
No services are planned.
