Herbert Needler, 65, 5815 Piccadilly Lane, died Monday at Ball Hospital. He moved to Muncie 34 years ago from Marion, and was a retired employee of Muncie Mill Co. He was a Member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; two sons, Jerry, Muncie, and Dr. Richard Needler, Columbus Grove, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Clements, Fort Wayne; seven grandchldren; and five brothers, Ord, Montpelier, Raymond, Everett, and Arthur A., all of Hartford City, and Elmer of Fort Wayne.
Friends may call at Parsons Mortuary after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Wednesday and Requiem Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory.
