Helen N Hill of Rankin, age 90, died Thu, Aug 4, 2005 at Durand Convalescent Center in Durand. Per Helen’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service at the funeral home.
Helen was born in Fife Lake, MI on Dec 11, 1914, the daughter of the late Clyde and Gertrude LaBar, and she was a resident of Rankin since 1946. Helen graduated from Fife Lake High School, Class of 1933. Helen volunteered at Flint Osteopathic Hospital for 30 years. Surviving are her 4 children, Ludlow Jr of Fenton, Ernest and wife Arleta of Durand, Lois Carroll of Sunnyvale, CA, Linda and husband Steve Blunt of Swartz Creek; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ludlow Sr in 1981 and daughter in law, Gleah.
