Helen Marie Van Alstine of Mancelona, formerly of Waterford, died on Nov 22, 2005, at the age of 56.
Helen was the loving mother of Dennis Wellington; daughter of the late Mary Louise and the late Paul Morgan; sister of Rebecca (Don) Bontemp, Susan (Henry) Olson, Lucianna (Larry) Kalis, Joseph Deuman, Randy (Myra) Deuman, the late Patricia Brian and the late Karen Kilburn; and daughter in law of Norma Nichols.
Helen was a teddy bear artist and volunteered for Hospice. She was a very loving, generous and caring person who helped anyone in need.
A memorial service will be held Thu, Dec 1, 2005, at 6 pm at the Riverside Chapel of the Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Rd, in Waterford. The family will receive friends on Thu beginning at 5 pm through the start of the service.
