Helen M. Bowersock, 91, of Van Wert, died at 1:08am Sun, Dec 28, 2008 at Health & Home of Van Wert.
She was born May 13, 1917 in Chattanooga, OH, the daughter of the late Doyle and Dessie (Fleetwood) Bebout. On Apr 22, 1939, she married L. Burdette “Bill” Bowersock, who preceded her in death on Oct 7, 1999.
Survivors include two sisters, Edna Kanney of Van Wert and Mildred Hertz of Cincinnati; three sisters in law, Roberta Hitchcock of Middle Point, Helen Bowersock and Mary Bowersock, both of Van Wert; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Richard Bebout, and one sister, Leona Young also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30am Wed, Dec 31 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Tim Burden officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6pm Tue, Dec 30, at the funeral home.
