Mrs. Hattie S. Schelske, 78, of Kalkaska, died Wednesday, August 8, 1990, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Schelske had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ.
She was born in Kalkaska County on October 5, 1911, to Samuel and Cora Morris Kreisher. On November 25, 1943, in South Boardman, she was married to Albert Schelske. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1979.
Surviving are two sisters, Zora Richardson and Clara Marshall both of Kalkaska, and several nieces and nephews.
One sister, Emma Riley, and one brother, Howard Kreischer, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 11, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
