Harry E Boyden, 63, a resident of Kalkaska for the past 33 years, died Sat, May 26, 2001, at his home.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Mr. Boyden enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and golf. He was a carpenter, and had worked many years in the construction industry.
He was born in Genesee County on Feb 20, 1938, the son of David and Dorothy Brenner Boyden. He married Leona Lund in Kalkaska on Sep 17, 1966.
Surviving are his wife, Leona; son Todd (Tisha) Boyden of Kalkaska; daughter, Kimberly (Tim) Lueck of Kingsley; mother Dorothy Boyden of Holly; brothers, David and Edward Boyden, both of Fenton; sister, Evelyn Shelby of Durand; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Sun, Jun 3, 2001, at Christ United Methodist Church in Traverse City. Rev. Louis Grettenberger will officiate.
Friends may call at the church from 1 pm until time of services.
Memorial gifts may be made for the wishes of the family.
