Gustav "Gus" Sulz, 95, of Rapid City, passed away on Apr 2, 2002, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care. He was born on Nov 21, 1906, in Husen, Germany, the son of George and Bertha (Gallin) Sulz.
Gus served in the US Army during WWII. He was a resident of Antrim County since 1971 after moving from Pontiac.
Gus is survived by his children Brenda Keissel and Mark (Nancy) Sulz, all of Central Lake; and Eric Sulz of Alden; sister, Hilda of Germany; five grandchildren; and dear friend Patricia (Don) Sullivan of Alden.
A memorial service will be held Apr 12 at 2 pm at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev Ray Roach of the Mancelona Baptist Church will be officiating. Interment will be at Helena Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in behalf of Gus Sulz to Mancelona Baptist Church Building Fund.
