Mrs. Grace Waneta Vipond, 80, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Aug 1, 1993, at Riverside Nursing Home in Grand Haven.
Mrs. Vipond was born in Kalkaska on Apr 27, 1913 to Coral and Reatha Deater Titus. She was married in Bellaire on Dec 14, 1929, to Arthur Stanley Vipond who preceded her in death on Nov 12, 1963.
Mrs. Vipond had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, spending most of her life on the family farm. She had been employed by Burwood Products in Traverse City prior to her retirement in 1978. Her hobbies included gardening and farming.
Surviving are three sons, Coral (and wife, Evelyn) Vipond and Victor (and wife Terry) Vipond both of Spring Lake and Leo (and wife, Suzeann) Vipond of Kalkaska; two step sisters, Irene Carlson of Muskegon and Frances Sveska of Kalkaska; two sisters in law, Bethel Vipond of Kalkaska and Betty Titus of Stanwood; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Cecil Titus.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wed, Aug 4, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Wesley Beasley will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
