Goldie M. Bourne, 79, of Kalkaska passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center, LTC. The daughter of Henry and Mildred (Bradley) Robinson, she was born on Dec. 18, 1923, in Tuscola County.
Goldie married Leland Reid, who preceded her in death in 1958. On March 13. 1965, she married Archie Bourne, who also preceded her in death in 1982. Goldie enjoyed crafts, flowers, collecting birds and loved her family dearly.
Goldie is survived by her children, Harry L. Reid of Kalkaska, Gordon Caryl Reid of Florida; her stepchildren, Raymond and Shirley Bourne of Florida, Devere and Darlene Bourne of Kalkaska, Wayne Bourne of North Dakota, Edith and Carl Ingersoll of Fife Lake, Edna Wahl of Kalkaska, Elaine and Harold Scribner of Fife Lake; 23 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; several great- great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy and Ron Pumphrey of Florida, Rita and Arnold Maxfield of Lapeer; brother, Harold Robinson of Florida.
Goldie was preceded in death by her siblings, Jesse, lola and Russell.
Visitation was Saturday and Sunday at Wolfe Funeral Home. The funeral service was on Monday, June 16, at the funeral home. Interment was at Clark Cemetery in Springfield Township. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
