Goldie L. Colborn of Gobles died Wed, Feb 26, 1997,at the Allegan General Hospital.
Mrs. Colborn was born Sep 14, 1919, in Ionia, the daughter of Charles and Melissa (Oliver) Chambers. Goldie worked for Cherry Growers Inc, in Traverse City for over 12 years as well as Essex Wire in Traverse city for 10 years.
Surviving are her husband Kenneth; two children and their spouses, Dale and Marion Colobrn of Allegan and Judy and Gale Gauld of Fife Lake; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister Elizabeth Nolff of South Boardman and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her great granddaughter Sarah and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held Mar 1 at the Gorden Funeral Residence, Allen Chapel. Rev. Gary Wales of Trowbridge Methodist Church officiated.
Interment will be in the Trowbridge Methodist Church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
