Mrs. Gloria June Hursh, age 73 of Gaylord died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Hursh was born in Garden City on June 1, 1937, the daughter of Raymond & Ida (Lattin) Woodruff. She was raised in Flint and moved to Gaylord in 1976. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Gaylord and T.O.P.S. She treasured her children and grandchildren and her family always came first. She enjoyed gardening, picking berries, hunting, fishing and cookouts. On Feb 3, 1953 she marrid Steward L. Hursh, who survives. Also surviving are her children Stewart (Donna) Hursh of Escanaba, Sherrey Siemion of Grand Rapids, David (Karla) Hursh of St. Charles, Susan (Michael, Sr.) Schepperly of Charlevoix, Carol Hursh of Gaylord, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Daniel Hursh and her son in law Dan Siemion.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Sept 23, 2010 at 1 pm from the Church of the Nazarene, Pastor Mark Hoult officiating.
Visitatoin will be held at the church on Thursday from 12 noon until the time of services.
