A Memorial Mass for Gerard Scott, 31, of Alden was held Saturday, Jan 26, 1991 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Kalkaska. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated.
Mr. Scott, who died in 1989, had been a resident of Kalkaska County for the past 30 years. He had attended Kalkaska High School, and enjoyed hiking and cross country skiing.
He was born in Chicago, Ill. on Dec. 15, 1957, to John and Patricia Clark Scott, Sr. who preceded him in death. Two brothers, John, Jr. and Patrick also preceded him in death.
Surviving are two brothers, Spencer Scott of Maryland and Kevin Scott of Kalkaska; six sisters, Mary Jane Luther of Austin, Texas, Kathleen Scott of Chicago, Margaret Louvierre and Nancy Jackson both of Kalkaska, Mary Harvey of Lafayette, LA, and Celeste Chiasson of Henderson, LA; and one uncle.
