Georgia Lea Lafferty, 65, passed away at her Kalkaska County home, surrounded by her loving family on Fri, Jul 8, 2011.
Georgia was born on Apr 23, 1946 in Jackson, OH, to the late William and Margaret (Harrison) Tackett.
She attended the Worship Center Church at Concord Academy in Alba.
George is survived by her loving husband Robert L. Lafferty; her children, Robert Lafferty of Taylor, Toni Bronson of Mancelona, and Anthony Wayne Lafferty of East Jordan; her siblings, Margie Monty, Marie Lyson, Faye Lafferty, William Tackett, Murl Tackett, and Johnny Tackett; seven grandchildren, and one great grand child.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Tacking in 1989 and 2000, respectively.
Visitation was held Wed, Jul 13, from noon to 2 pm at Kalkaska Funeral Home. The funeral service was held at 2 pm following the visitation at Kalkaska Funeral Home.
Officiating the service was her son Robert Lafferty, of the Belleville Lighthouse Worship Center.
