Georgette L Price, 85, rural Hartford City, died at 2:15 pm Sat, Jan 29, 2005, in Blackford Community Hospital, where she had been admitted earlier in the day.
A life resident of Blackford County, she was born Aug 14, 1919, the daughter of Laten and Denise (Bastine) Hornbaker. A 1939 graduate of Montpelier High School, she married Robert C. Price in the Zion Lutheran Church, Hartford City, May 8, 1943. He survives.
Mrs. Price was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm.
She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Hartford City.
Surviving are her husband, Robert, a son, John Price (wife, Marilyn), Hartford City; 4 grandchildren, Dave, Mike, Julie, and Andy Price, all of Hartford City; and 3 great grandchildren, Marcus, Nick, and Kyle Price all of Hartford City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Paul, a daughter, Connie and brother, Paul Hornbaker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Price will be conducted at 10:30 am Wed, Feb 2, 2005, in the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 610 N. Reserve St, Muncie.
Burial will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hartford City.
Friends may call at the Waters Funeral Home, 501, W. Washington St, Hartford City, from 3:30 to 8pm Tue, Feb 1st, and after 10 am Wed, Feb 2nd prior to services at the church.
