Dr. George W. Crow, 85, of Rapid City, died Wednesday, February 7, 1990, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Dr. Crow had been a Rapid City resident for the past 43 years. He practiced dentistry in Flint and Elk Rapids prior to his retirement in 1972. He was a 1928 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. Dr. Crow was a life member of Elk Rapids Masonic Lodge 275 F & AM, Traverse City Elks Club, the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, a charter member and past President of the Elk Rapids Rotary Club, and a member of the Northwest Shrine Club.
He was born in Marine City on Jan. 31, 1905, to Templeton and Gertrude Jones Crow. On May 28, 1943, in Flint, he was married to Eva Hendershot who survives.
Also surviving are one son, George Crow, Jr. of Flint; one daughter, Joyce Finch of Columbus, OH; one sister, Mrs. James (Areta) Hansen of Sarasota, FL; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; and one nephews.
No services are planned at this time.
