George S. (Bud) Badder, 81, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Oct 20, 1994, in Kalkaska.
Mr. Badder moved to Kalkaska from Ionia, and had been employed by the Michigan Department of Transportation prior to his retirement in 1975. He enjoyed the outdoors and animals.
Born in Ionia on Dec 13, 1912, he was the son of George R. and Leona Allen Badder, On Mar 4, 1948, in Cadillac he was married to Estell Barnes who preceded him in death on Oct 5, 1986.
Surviving are one daughter, Rachel Davis of Cowarts, AL; one brother, Duane Badder, Sr. of Kalkaska; three sisters, Lillie Maas of AZ, and Martha McClellen and Mamie Robinson both of Ionia; two grandchildren, Donna and Tina; and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
Funeral services were held Sat, Oct 22, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Rev. Scott Rhoades, pastor of New Life Assembly officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
