George J Parker Jr., 84 of Van Buren died Wed, Jun 13, 2001.
He was an Army veteran of WWII, a retired self-employed roofer, former worker for Monte McDermit and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose, Eagles, and AMVETS.
He was preceded in death by his wife, LaDonna Parker.
Survivors include, two daughters, Shenna M “Mike” Hamilton of Poneto, IN and LaDonna N Brasuell of VanBuren; two sons, George M “Montie” Parker and Steven Jae Parker, both of Forth Smith; 10 grandchildren; 20 step grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren and 9 step great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Jun 16 at Keplinger Funeral Home Chapel in Hartford City, IN. Burial was in Hartford City Cemetery under the direction of Keplinger Funeral Home.
