George F. Dupuie, 81, of Kalkaska, died Fri,3Jun 4, 1993 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. 

Mr. Dupuie had been a resident of Kalkaska County for the past 47 years, since moving from River Rouge. He had been employed by the American Brass Company as a crane operator, and later retired from Wayne Wire Cloth Products as an inspector. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

He was born on Nov 28, 1911, in River Rouge, to John and Anna (LeBeck) Dupuie. On Apr 27, 1935, in River Rouge. he married Marie Bodrie who preceded him in death on Jun 8, 1984. 

He is survived by four sons, Thomas of Frankenmuth, John and Ken, both of Kalkaska, and Don of River Rouge; five daughters, Janis King of Dearborn, Joyce LaForest of Kalkaska, Linda Jakubowski of Kalkaska, Laura Jenkins of Fife Lake, and Lucinda Reynolds of Fife Lake; 30 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by one son, Larry; three sisters, Viola Kaufman, Florence McCummins, and Laura Dupuie; four brothers, Joseph, Walter, Albert, and Edward, and three grandchildren. 

Mass of Christian Burial was held Tue, Jun 8, 1993 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Father Patrick Barrett officiated. Burial was in St. Aloysius cemetery. A scripture service was held Mon at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. 

Memorial contributions may be given to the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-Long Term Care or the St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
