Gary M Jaster, 74, passed away Tue, Feb 1, 2011, at home. Gary was born in Kenosha on Dec 30, 1936 to Raymond and Sylvia (nee: Hill) Jaster. On Apr 7, 1966, he married Catherine A. Gerardo.
Gary had a great sense of humor and was very outgoing. Gardening and cooking were his passions.
Gary is survived by his soulmate of 45 years, Cathy; four sons, Ray (Terri) Jaster of Pound, Gary Jaster Jr of TN, John O’Dell of Stone Mountain, GA, and Kelly O’Dell of Racine; and two daughters, Mary Boring of Dover, DE and Rosie (Geoff) Gates of Lansing, KS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Gary is further survived by two brothers, Kevin Jaster of Racine and Gene Jaster of Hurley; many brothers in law and sisters in law and several nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jerry Allen Jaster.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sat, Feb 12, 2011, at Holy Rosary Church, 4400 22nd Ave, at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
