Gary A. Pike, age 42, of Brownstown died on June 24, 2009 in Trenton, Michigan. Friends may call in the First United Methodist Church of Flat Rock on Sunday, June 28, 2009 from 4 to 5 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Church beginning at 5 PM. Rev. John K Benissan will officiated service. Cremation is to follow. Born July 10, 1966 in Dearborn, Michigan he was the son of Garner Pike and Beverly Kroning. On March 13, 2004 he married Carlene McAtee in the First United Methodist Church, Flat Rock, Michigan. They have lived in Brownstown for the past 6 years and Gary was currently a full time student at WCCC, specializing in computer programming. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He loved his critters, his dogs – Maggie, Sidney cats – Murphy & Sophie; birds – Mason, Howie & Milo. Surviving are his wife, Carlene of Brownstown; mother, Beverly Kroning of Dearborn Heights; father Garner Pike of S. Carolina; brother Greg Pike of Dearborn Heights; uncle, Dr. David Kroning and aunt, Judy (Bob) Gutowski of Kingsley, MI. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
