Garner M. Ream, 81, died at 5:14am May 26, 1996 at Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center in Findlay.

He was born August 13, 1914 in Ada, to Marion and Ethel Hoy Ream. On November 23, 1939 he married Rowena M. Moore, who died October 12, 1987.

Rev. Ream was a retired pastor who served for 29 years at the Flat Branch Church of Christ near Kenton and for 30 years at the Union Chapel Church of Christ near Forest. He was a member of the Bethel Church of Christ, Ada.

Survivors include one son, Patrick M. Ream of Dunkirk; one daughter, Yvonne Aschenbrenner of Elgin, IL; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and two sisters, Vivian Carpenter of Kenton and Unaeveln Barnett of Lima.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Marion, Jack, and Kenneth Ream.

Services will be at 2pm Wed at Bethel Church of Christ. The Revs. Terry Alverson and Dave Underwood will officiate. Burial will be in Dunkirk Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4pm Wed at Bethel Church of Christ.
