Mrs. G. Dorothy Beckman, 77, of South Boardman, died Sun, May 8, 1994, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Beckman moved to South Boardman 25 years ago from Pontiac. She was affiliated with the Lutheran Church, and enjoyed sewing and crafts.
Born in Ft. Ripley, MN on Dec 10, 1916, she was the daughter of Leon and Millie Gaddis Meyer. On Jun 1, 1946, in Pontiac, she was married to John H. Beckman, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Robert L. Jones of Smithfield., VA; one daughter, Mrs. Ryan (Mary) Hart of Acme; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
One son, John Beckman, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Wed, May 11, 1994, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Ted Turanski, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
