Frieda Leona Leeck 1910-2002
Of Clio, age 91, died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at her residence. A Memorial Service will take place 1:30pm Saturday at the Miles Martin Funeral Home, Rev. L.E. Etzel will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. Saturday until time of service. Those desiring, may consider memorial contributions to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church School or Genesys Hospice. Frieda was born September 5, 1910 in Alden, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rowland and Emma (Dickerson) Herriman. She married Frederick Leeck in 1954, he predeceased her in 1992. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Flint. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and canning vegetables from her garden. Frieda retired from AC Spark Plug after 27 years of service. Surviving are 2 step-daughters: Patricia Lewis of Flint, Bonnie and husband Dale Foltz of Sunfield, Mich., step-grandchildren: Terri and husband Michael Brown of Portland, Mich., Lee Ann Francis, Mark and Debra Lewis, Barbara and husband Matthew Gregson, Michael and wife Kim Lewis – all of Flint, Lisa and husband Todd Crannie of Montrose, step-great grandchildren: Robert Francis, Andrea and Ryan Root, Bonnie and Cody Dennis, Amanda and Seth Foltz, Jason Lewis, Leslie and Matthew Gregson, Annarose Cooper, Eric Pepper and Susan Crannie, 1 great great granddaughter Makinzie Foltz, sisters-in law: Evelyn Grablick, Ann Hubbard, Shirley Zimmer, Janet Smith and Ellen Meddaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Jenny, brother Enoch, and grandson Patrick Foltz, sister-in-law Bessie Eagle.
