Frederick Dexter See, 71, of Fife Lake, died Sunday at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
A resident of the Fife Lake area for the past 15 years, he was a retired automobile mechanic. He formerly had lived in Grand Rapids. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Born in Allendale on Dec. 13, 1919, he was the son of Iva and Stella (Morman) See.
Surviving are a sister, Bertha Dickson of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley. The Rev. Bruce R. Kintigh will officiate. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery, Fife lake.
Friends may visit from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
