Frank R. Dick, 97, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, died Thursday, October 11, 1990 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Dick was a retired farmer, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and baseball.
He was born in Kalkaska County on Sept 10, 1893 to William and Susan (Ryckman) Dick. On March 18, 1920, in Kalkaska, he was married to Iva Dansingburg, who preceded him in death on Feb 25, 1937.
Surviving are one sons, Glen Dick of Grand Haven; two daughters, Frances Triplett of Kalkaska, and Susan Wilson of Concord; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and one step great-grat-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Forest, and one grandson, Jeff Dick.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct 14, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of The Peoples Church, officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
