Beloved father passed away Sun, Apr 28, 2013 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital. Age 78 years. Son of the late John and Feliksa (Lotys) Rydel, Frank was born Jun 27, 1934 in Saginaw, MI. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Nichols. He then married Jennie Sewell. She predeceased him Feb 17, 1998.
Frank was employed at General Motors for 35 years retiring in 1991. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are two sons, Frank E. Rydel, Jr, Altamonte Springs, FL; John P Rydel and his fiancé, Kimberly Wright, Saginaw; his grandchildren, Shaeliha Woodley, Flushing; Steven Woodley, Swartz Creek; Craig Woodley, Holly; Angie Chalender; Franks loving companion, Margo J. Doty, Sagianw; one step daughter, Linda Woodley, Flushing; his first wife, Mary and Charlie Dowdy, Houghton Lake; a brother in law, Louis and Katherine Nichols, Saginaw; several nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Elizabeth Rydel and twelve brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will take place 7pm, Fri, May 3, 2013 at The Snow Funeral Home, Rev. Fr. John S. Sarge will officiate. Honoring Mr. Rydels wishes cremation will follow.
