Frank A. Buike IMLAY CITY - Frank A. Buike, 68, of 540 North Almont Ave., Imlay City, died Friday in Suncrest Convalescent Home, Lapeer, after a long illness.

A lifelong Imlay City resident, Mr. Buike was born Aug. 26, 1907, in Imlay City.

He was married to the former Nora Halpin on Aug. 17, 1938, at Lapeer.

Mr. Buike was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish, Imlay City, a volunteer fireman for 25 years, the first chairman of the Lapeer County Firemen's Association, a member of the Saginaw Valley Chapter of American Foundrymen's Society, and an employe of Almont Manufacturing Co. for 37 years.

He is survived by his wife, Nora: a daughter. Mary Kay Buike, Mt. Pleasant: and a sister, Mildred Freeman, Bellaire, Mich.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Church with The Rev. John Dunn, pastor, officiating. A scripture service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday in Muir Brothers funeral home.

Remains are in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Imlay City.

Memorials may be sent to a favorite charity.
