Frances S. Godfrey, 79, of Frankfort, formerly of Kalkaska and Ypsilanti, died Tue, Jul 1, 2003, at the Frankfort Senior Care Home.
Mrs. Godfrey was born on Jan 1, 1924, in Painesville, the daughter of Frank and Hilma (Palkola) Hill. She married George Godfrey who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Godfrey made her home with her niece Carol (Bill) Atkins of Arcadia before she moved to the Frankfort Senior Care Home.
She is survived by sisters, Hulda Lehtomaki of Clinton and Nannette Brady of Bruce Crossing; brother, Art Hill of Bruce Crossing; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Thu, Jul 3, at the McElduff Funeral Homes Benzonia Chapel, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska Township.
