Services for Forrest L Hoy, 84, of 106 Wood St, who died at 10 pm Monday in his home, will be at 2 pm Friday in the Johnson Funeral Home, Plymouth. Rev Jesse Cidney will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Thu at the funeral home.
Hoy was born on Jul 23, 1894 in Portland, IN and had lived in Lapaz for 40 years. He was a retired farmer and a veteran of WWI, On Sep 19, 1966, in Lapaz he married Mabel Stacy, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Lee Hoy, of Interlochen, MI, a stepson, Wayne Stacy of Lapaz, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Bill (Beulah) Helsel of Cass, MI, and Mrs. Dorothy Martz of Niles; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; 12 step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; a brother, John Hoy of OR, and two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Evans and Mrs. Hulda Bradley, both of Lapaz.
