Forest R. "Jack" Ringle, age 83, died Oct 10, 1991. Mr. Ringle was born Jul 20, 1908 in Lansing where he resided for over 55 years. Formerly employed with Motor Wheel, he more recently owned and operated the Ringle Well Drilling Company, retiring in 1976. Past President of the Michigan Well Drillers Association, he was active in State water quality control issues and served on the original Governor's Water Quality Control Advisory Board. Mr. and Mrs. Ringle celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary Jan 17, 1991. Mr. Ringle was a Number One husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy J; 2 daughters, Carol A. (Daniel) Martin and Linda M (Alan) Schneider, both of Westphalia; 1 son, Robert D (June) Ringle of Laingsburg; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Gladys Shaw of Ashley, MI; 1 half sister, Louise Houser of Frankfort; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sat, Oct 12, 1991 at 1 pm at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel with the Rev. Mark D Graham, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Chapel beginning Fri at 2 pm where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of their choice in memory of Mr. Ringle.
