Fay C. Cross, 81, of Kalkaska, died Monday, June 11, 1990, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Cross had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was a retired farmer and saw mill operator. He was a longtime member of the Kalkaska Township Board, having served as treasurer and township supervisor. He was also a member of the Kalkaska County Board of Supervisors. He was an active member of the Farm Bureau and the Soil Conservation District, and the Spencer Church of Christ.
Mr. Cross was born in Kalkaska County on March 6, 1909, to James and Ethel Wright Cross. On March 29, 1941, in Kalkaska County, he was married to Gladys Clark, who survives.
He was preceded in death by one sons, James Allen, and one sister, Ila Worden.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 1990, at the Spencer Church of Christ. Michael Steere officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer Church of Christ or the Great Lakes Bible College.
