Kile, Farley D. of Pontiac, went home to be with the Lord on June 7, 2012, age 80. Beloved husband of the late June; dear brother of Titus (Rose) Kile.
Preceded in death by his parents; three sisters; and one brother.
Mr. Kile was retired from General Motors and was a dedicated member of Columbia Avenue Baptist Church. He was past Grand Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias and was a current member of Fellowship Lodge #277 and Lodge #55 in Detroit. Farley was a jolly soul, often known to break into song at any given moment. He was quick to tell a joke and was very outspoken. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012, 11 a.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. Officiating Pastor Brad Adams. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday 1 to 4 pm and Monday 3 to 6pm. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery.
