Everett E. Williams, 84, of Rapid City, died Wed, Dec 17, 1997, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Williams was employed in quality control at Buick Motor Car Co prior to his retirement in 1971, when he moved to Kalkaska County. He was a member and past master of Elk Rapids Loge 275, F&AM, the Scottish Right, Valley of Grand Rapids and Valley of Traverse City, the Northwest Shrine Club, the Hi Twelve Club, the Three Lakes Association, Royal Arch Masons of Traverse City, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mr. Williams was born in Mansfield, MA on May 3, 1913, to Edward and Emma Dietz Williams. On Feb 12, 1936, in Flint, he married Estelle "Sally" Perrault, who survives.
Also surviving are son Estle (Pat) Williams of Rapid City; daughter Gloria Harding of Pennsylvania; sister Mildred Joines of FL; aunt Evelyn Hunn of Lapeer, grandsons Jeffrey (Leslie), Gregory (Cindy), Nathan (Lynette), and Bradford Williams, and Robert (Carol), and Scott Harding; four great grandchildren and several cousins.
A brother, George Williams, preceded him in death.
A Masonic Memorial service was held Dec 19 at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held Dec 20 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Scott Rhoades officiated.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
