Mrs. Eunice Labar Case was born in Tioga County Pennsylvania, May 15th, 1854. She was married to Eleazer Case of the same place on August 15th, 1873. To this union five children were born, Minnie, Maud, and Alice, who have departed this life.
She leaves to mourn her death two sons, Fred of this place and Frank of Iron Mountain, also four grandchildren, Carol, Keith, and Eunice Case of Iron Mountain and Floyd Thomas of Fife Lake; five brothers, Hiram of Fife Lake, Foster of Ludington, Andrew of Manistique, Eugene of Newberry and Myron of L'Anse, besides other near relatives and a host of friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Case moved to Fife Lake in 1877, where they resided for seven years moving from there to their farm in Springfield township, where they have since resided.
Mrs. Case was a faithful member of the Disciple church for a great many years. She was a regular attendant and active member until late years when poor health forced her to stay more closely to her home.
She departed this life Sept. 3, 1937 at the age of 83 years, 3 months, and 9 days.
