Eunice E. Suboski. 85. of Rapid City, passed away Sept. 30, 2002, at her home. She was born Nov. 26, 1916 in Gaylord, the daughter of William and Ida (Johnson) Wheeler.
Eunice married Victor V. Suboski. She retired from the State of Michigan in 1972 after 16 years of service. Eunice moved from Newberry in the Upper Peninsula in 1954 to Kalamazoo, and then spent 18 years in Carlsbad, N.M. She then moved to the Kalkaska area in 1990. Eunice enjoyed her flower garden, quilting and her grandchildren.
Eunice is survived by her children Larry Suboski of Mason, Milton (Winnie) Suboski of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Thomas (Mary Ann) Suboski of Fosteria, Patrick (Barbara) Suboski of Rapid City, and Viki Joan (Clifford) Pedroncelli of Corraics, New Mexico; daughter-in-law Dortha Suboski of West Unity, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Victor, and son, William Suboski.
The funeral service was conducted Oct. 4 at Wolfe Funeral Home with The Rev. Steve Shafer of the United Church of God officiating. Interment was at Clearwater Township Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
