Eugene W. Andrews, 70 of Kalkaska, died Thursday, Dec 14, 1989 at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital.
Mr. Andrews retired from Buick Motor Company in Flint in 1974, and moved to Kalkaska County in 1976. He was also employed by Northland Food and Family Center in Kalkaska.
He was born in Flint on May 15, 1991, to Eugene J. and Emma L. Biglow Andrews. On March 21, 1964, in Flint, he was married to Imo Lesert who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three stepsons, Richard Lesert of Germany, Clarence (Bud) Lesert and Fred Lesert of Kalkaska; five sisters, Roselie Heme of Crump, Irene Brown of Linwood, LaFrieda Burton of Missouri, Donna Jean Labreque of Mt. Morris, and Jacquelin Kelly of Flint; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
One stepdaughter, Deborah Titus; two brothers, Frank and Donald; one sister, Marrion Dean; and four grandchildren preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec 17, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Dan Davis officiated. Burial was in Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris.
