Esther L. Miles, 69, of Kalkaska, died Fri, Aug 18, 2000, at her home.
Mrs. Miles spent her early years in Kalkaska, and then resided in the Six Lakes and Belding area prior to returning to Kalkaska. She was a graduate of Kalkaska High School, and a past president of Magnolia VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Mrs. Miles was born in Kalkaska on Oct 6, 1930, to Carlton and Clara Kriesher Marshall. She married Cortland Miles on Oct 3, 1969, in Fife Lake. He died on Mar 13, 1988.
Surviving are sons Gaylord (Marge) Tiff and Rex Tiff, both of Grand Rapids; daughter Denise Tatro of Newaygo; five grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are at 11 am Wed, Aug 23 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Cremation will follow funeral services.
