Esther B. Way, 76, of Harrison, formerly of Rapid City, died Mon, Aug 7, 2000, at Northwoods Nursing Home in Farwell.
Mrs. Way resided in Garden City until 1988, when she moved to Harrison. She was a 1941 graduate of Rapid City High School.
Mrs. Way was born in Rapid City on Oct 18, 1923, to Leonard and Bessie Ashley Lamb. On Oct 10, 1942, in Alden, she married Norvell Way, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by sons Rodney (Linda) Way of New Boston and Mark Way of Harrison; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Her grandson Trevor, sister Hazel Finney, and brothers Francis (Pat) Lamb and Loyal Lamb preceded her in death.
Funeral services were Aug 11 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Mitch Saxton officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
