Services for Mrs. Frank A. Shepard wo passed away in the hospital at Lansing, Monday morning, at 6:25 took place Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock at the Shepard residence, 627 West Front Street. Rev. Lawrence A Meade, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated.
Interment was in Oakwood. Emma Odessa Snyder, daughter of Samuel and Christian Snyder was born at Lake Odessa, Jul 11, 1850 and was married Jul 20, 1895 to Frank A. Shepard.
Mr. and Mrs. Shepard came to Grand Lege in August 1899, where they purchased their home on West Front Street. They have 2 daughters, Eva Ruth and Hazel. Mrs. Shepard is also survived by four brothers, J.A. Snyder of Detroit, S. E. Snyder of Fife Lake; Charles Snyder of Sheridan, and Dell Snyder of Wajamega. Mrs. Shepard was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, I.O.O.F.
