Erma L. Adams, 44, an accountant secretary for Kajima International in Bloomington, IL, died Monday at Proctor Community Hospital in Peoria, IL.
She had been a longtime resident of Peoria Heights, where she shared her home with Arnie Lund.
The daughter of Eben and Margaret (Will) Dawson, she was born Aug. 2, 1945, in Central Lake.
She is survived by two daughters, Kelly and Heather Adams, both at home; a son, Shane of Kingsley; six brothers, Edwin Dawson of Elk Rapids, Milford Dawson of League City, TX, Victor Dawson of Boyne City, Raymond Dawson of Spider Lake, Marvin Dawson of Gladstone and Kenneth Dawson of Virginia Beach, VA; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 23, at Grace Community Church in Central Lake. The Rev. Estel A. Clark officiated. Interment will be in Central Lake Cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the Erma L. Adams Memorial Fund in care of her family and to St. Juede's Midwest Affiliate.
Arrangements were made by the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria.
