Erdine Blatt, age 91, of Brown City died Dec 20, 2020. She was born in Brown City to Douglas and Hilda MacLarty. Erdine graduated from Brown City High School Class of 1947. She married Onie Blatt on Jun 26, 1948.
Erdine was a homemaker housewife, mother, and grandmother that had also worked for 15 years at Hammill Manufacturing in Imlay City. She enjoyed camping at Sleeper Park in Caseville and enjoyed cooking. She was well known for her baked pies and goodies. Erdine loved to make her grandchildren pancakes and hot dogs. She was a long-time member of the Brown City United Methodist Church.
Erdine is survived by 3 children: Vickie Doherty, Pam (Gary) Willer, Deb (Eugene) Ford, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Onie, a granddaughter, Jennifer Benedict and a son in law Tom Doherty.
Funeral services will be at Noon Sat, Dec 26, 2020 at the Brown City United Methodist Church with a visitation form 10 until time to service with Covid-19 protocol in place.
Serving as casket bearers are Mike Doherty, Matt Doherty, Mike Way, Terry Kohler, Nicholas Willer, Jake Brown, Sam Way and Eric Doherty.
Burial will be in Omard Cemetery.
