Mrs. Emma Jeanne Henke, 79, of Kalkaska, died Aug 14, 1998, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Henke had been a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska area, and enjoyed gardening and reading.
Mrs. Henke was born in Kalkaska County on Dec 9, 1918, to Armand and Ruth Southwell Keller. On Jun 16, 1942, in Cincinnati, OH, she was united in marriage with Edmund Henke, who preceded her in death on Aug 7, 1996.
Surviving are son Thomas (Leanna) Henke of Kalkaska; daughter Toni (Ray) Lankford of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and special friend June Smallage of Clio.
Six siblings preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Aug 23, at Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Arrangements by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
