Emma was the daughter of George and Fidelia Pierce, born in Blair Township. She was married first to George Still in 1900 and second in 1911 to Lessie E. Hoy.
Mrs. Hoy dies at 80.
Funeral services for Mrs. Isabel Hoy, 80, of 607 Barlow Street, Traverse City, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Martinson Funeral Home. Dr. Howard R. Towne officiating, with burial in the family lot in Monroe center cemetery.
Mrs. Hoy died Friday morning at Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility after a lingering illness
She was born August 8, 1882 in Blair Township and lived her childhood years there. After selling a farm in the township following the death of her parents, she moved to Traverse City, where she had resided for the past 20 years.
Surviving are: a granddaughter, Mrs. Pauline Hradsky of Muskegon; three great-grandchildren; and several cousins. Her husband preceded her in death (Traverse City Record Eagle, 18 August 1962, page 13 column 6)
