Funeral rites for Mrs. Emma Bell Slentz, 39, of Dunkirk, wife of Arthur Slentz, will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at the Dunkirk. Friends may call at the Jones Mortuary after 7 pm Monday. Mrs. Slentz was stricken ill with a heart attack and died Sunday afternoon at the Knights of Columbus Hall, where she was attending a program. Fireman applied article respiration for two hours, without success. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Sheila Brown of Dunkirk; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam White of Dunkirk; two brothers, Paul White of Portland and Jay White of Warren, and one sister, Mrs. Violet Lefforge of Shirley. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and of Local 501, American Flint Glass Workers Union.
