Elmer G. Cain died Thu, Aug 24, 2006, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL. He was born in Fife Lake.
Cain was a veteran of the US Navy occupational forces in Japan. He was a 25 year employee with ITW Fastex. He was also a Boy Scout leader for Troop 948 in Chicago and an active member and volunteer at the Sheila Ray Adult Center since 1988.
He was the beloved husband of LaVerne (nee Christensen); loving father of Lawrence (Patty) and George (Debbie); devoted grandfather of Phil an dSean Cain, Heather Zoeller, and Erik and Mark Cain; cherished great grandfather of five; and dear brother of Beulah (Wilbur) Elliott and the late Mona Meyer. He is also survived by many loving family members, friends, and Snickers.
